  I went to this place for the 1st time yesterday.
  I ordered the Oxtail plate with rice & peas/greens for the side. Omg so good! He didn't pile up a bunch of bones, there were nice chucky portions of Tender, juicy pieces of the tail. The price was decent. The customer service was awesome.
  I will definitely be going back to try the jerk chicken and plantains.

  Hubby went here for some authentic Jamaican food. Before I start just want to say, he thinks this is probably a nice family owned business. However, the interaction between him and the owner was a bit awkward when my husband asked basic questions. Overall, food, decor, & customer service were about average. He had a small jerk chicken meal. Price was reasonable -- under $10.
  
  Unfortunately, the food was just OK, and did not quite hit the mark for him. He has been looking for a new go-to Jamaican spot ever since Nyamminz + Jamminz shut down. His search continues...

  Jerk chicken was great. Excellent flavor.
  
  Rice and peas seemed a little bland. Needed some sauce or more flavor. But would still eat again.

  This is a small mom and pop shop on the second of a shopping center close to Delk Road off of Franklin Gateway. someone else recommended it so I thought I would give them a try. Probably won't happen again.. Number one I had to walk up the stairs and there were two unsavory characters in the stairwell which is closed in.  So something could happen to someone in the stairwell. Thank goodness I went during the day. You can't even tell people are in there until once you're in.
  Regardless I went and ordered a curry chicken large meal. It does not come with plantains and they will charge you extra for it. The flavor was decent but nothing to write home about. I did not taste the coconut milk in the rice and peas and the food felt like it needed salt. Additionally the restaurant is ridiculously hot.  They have two fans blowing but that is not enough. I'm surprised anybody would work there as hot as it is. Then I paid for two bean pie's and I get home I'm all excited for one and I found out they gave me meat patties. They don't even sound li they have two vans lying but that is not enough. I'm surprised anybody would work there as hot as it is. That just topped off my experience or bottomed it off.  While the food was decent I would just say it was plain Jane and because of the safety issue I cannot recommend regardless.

  Food was dry ordered a large and had to tell the girl to give me more rice . Also they didn't have a lot of things ready no oxtails , plaintains idk if it was the time if day
  
  Gave them another shot ordered a small curry chicken rice and beans. Probably the worst curry chicken I've ever had . Not seasoning flavor or anything it was very nasty. The chicken didn't look right and I stopped eating it as my stomach started hurting . So no not going back
